La Trullola
La Trullola is the personal project of Josep Maria Beltran, a lifelong farmer. From a family of small farmers who often had to do other jobs to survive, but always working the land. He grew up among vineyards, almond trees and olive groves, and hard work has enabled him to be a farmer today. His love for the land comes from his father, Joan Beltran Vernet (known as Joan de ca l’Agna), whose know-how and dedication taught him to listen to the
La Trullola was set up to provide families with high-quality olive oil. To achieve this goal, we use organic and biodynamic farming methods.
Our farming rests on four principles:

Oils and characterization
Oli La Trullola is 100% Arbequina variety organic extra virgin olive oil from our own olive groves. It is middlingly fruity, sweet but very slightly bitter and sharp. Taken as a whole, mild and pleasant.
La Trullola Selecció is a 100% Arbequina variety organic extra virgin olive oil. This premium quality oil stands out for aromas dominated by olive leaves, artichoke and tomato plant, with other milder touches such as almond. Deep green, fruity olive oil. Robust, with a certain spiciness, distinctly bitter and astringent, but not unpleasant as it maintains a certain degree of sweetness to the finish.
