Jordi Domènech

Celler Jordi Domènech was founded in 2006 out of a fascination for the wines of this region.

The winery is determined to make limited quantities of quality wine, using grapes from its own vineyards (grenache and carignan) with a selection of syrah to reinforce the coupage. It makes Clos Penat, an aged red, and Petit Clos Penat, a coupage of young and aged reds. The grapes are harvested late, with medium extraction and carefully aged in French oak barrels until the wine reaches its optimum point. Wines packed with personality, with fruity notes and hints of spices, mineral and big in the mouth with a long, persistent aftertaste.
