Família Sedó Barceló

As far back as 1720, the Sedó and Barceló families were cultivating vineyards in Bellmunt. Josep Ramon Sedó took over the family holding in 1986. In 2007, with the stagnation of the market for young grapes in the Priorat, the family started seeking new options: the Sedó Barceló winery and “Lo Cistell de Pagès” farm produce shop. The idea is to make a wine for everybody, to reach a wider market. They work all their crops with practices similar to "integrated production" methods, in the belief that this is the most rational, sustainable way of farming.
