Costers del Priorat

At Costers del Priorat we elaborate our wines with grapes from three historical Priorat estates: Sant Martí, Mas Alsera and Les Solanes, where we have old vines and other, younger ones. All of them are worked by hand, looking for limited performance and a rigorous grape selection.

The winery is at the last of the mentioned estates, at the heart of Les Solanes of El Molar. A structure integrated to its environment that makes use of the site and part of the subterranean buildings of an 15th century Carthusian farmhouse.

The 2002 harvest was the first of Costers del Priorat. Behind this project and name there met a group of experienced winemakers and wine business people, all of them moved by the desire to elaborate wines that express the big values of the Priorat.
