Visit to Toulouse Tourism Trade Fair

Last 27th Februrary, the Priorat Tourist Office visited the town of Toulouse and the Mahana Tourism Trade Fair. This fair has now started to include an area dedicated to hiking and outdoor activities. The aim of the visit was to present Priorat county and its hiking options to different tour operators attending the fair. It was also a good opportunity to get to know tour operators better who are already offering Priorat as a holiday destination.
Thanks to one of these encounters, the tour operator, Viamonts (www.viamonts-voyages.com) showed great interest in the possiblity of combining hiking with vineyard and winery visits. They have agreed to take part in a familiarisation tour in April which will include hikes in the Montsant natural park as well as following the "Camins del Vi" or "Wine Trails".
