The Priorat participates in the "Mostra de Vins i Caves de Catalunya"

The "Mostra de Vins i Caves de Catalunya" (Wine and Cava Fair), organised by INCAVI (Catalan Wine Institute), has been going now for 28 years during the Patron Saint of Barcelona festivities. This year (20-24 September) the fair has organised a new section aimed at promoting tourism to the wine regions of Catalonia. This new section is called "Wine and Lands" and the Priorat Tourist Board took part in order to promote the new wine routes created through DO Montsant and DOC Priorat territory. There was a very good turn out especially around the wine-tasting area. The Priorat stand counted around 600 visitors, many of whom were keen to visit the region's wineries.
