Discover the culture of oil in the Priorat through a menu of local produce in which extra virgin olive oil plays a starring role.
This is a menu made up of Mediterranean and Catalan cuisine, recovering traditional dishes such as olive purée, a recipe that pays tribute to our grandmothers, though adding a modern twist. A menu made with produce from the Priorat, because the distinctiveness of an area depends on the courage and tenacity of its people. Farmers, wine growers and shepherds supply us every day with vegetables, cheeses, meat, fruit, oil and other quality produce. The land gives us its fruit and we harvest it at its ideal point of ripeness. From the field to the table, just the right weather and time, like a flower when it opens, a gift from the sun... This is how we cook at El Cairat.
