Les Espones

Les Espones is a small family business located in the municipality of Margalef. Our farms are located in front of the Montsant Natural Park, the symbol of the Priorat. The relief of Montsant is one of its most relevant characteristics: most of its perimeter is made up of cliffs and rocks of Oligocene conglomerates.

Our harvest is the result of an agriculture that respects the environment and biodiversity: we maintain the plant cover with the horse pasture.

We use compost to improve the physical and chemical properties of the soil, from its structure, through increasing the water retention capacity, but also improving the nutrition of the crop.
