Guided tours of Siurana

1. The dynamic tour ("la visita dinamitzada")

The aim of this tour is to discover Siurana as a heritage site in an enjoyable but truthful manner, telling the stories that make up its history. These fascinate the visitors and allow us to explain such diverse subjects as Siurana's geological formation, its legends, the human settlements throughout history...

Every second Saturday of month at 12 pm from 9/9
Every Friday of July and August at 7 pm

1 h 30 minutes

Language:
The guided tour is offered in Catalan but it can be bilingual Catalan-Spanish. English and French only by appointment for groups.

Meeting point:
Pla dels Portals (square at the entrance of the village of Siurana).

Attention:
Siurana's terrain is uneven and the tour is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes.

2. The dramatized tour ("la visita teatralitzada").

The object of this tour is to bring the visitors nearer to Siurana through its legends, mixing historical and fantasy elements that the oral tradition has preserved until the present days. We walk through the scenarios that appear in the legends and experience the emotions of their heros.

These tours, set up by the local authority in Cornudella de Montsant with the support of the Tarragona provincial authority, set out to tell visitors about the enormous cultural and heritage wealth of the village of Siurana and help them find out about its history. The Còdol Educació team have carried out rigorous research work to make sure the guided tours have everything they need to captivate visitors.
