Places to visit
La Torre de Fontaubella is a picturesque little village, overlooked by the imposing bulk of La Mola, with its flat top set amid a landscape of shady, well-watered woodlands.
One of the many worthwhile walks is up La Mola along one of several waymarked paths. At the top of La Mola are the remains of a watch tower. From the top you can see the Mediterranean sea and much of the Costa Daurada, including the Cap de Salou, making up a wonderful view on clear days. There are also walks in the Llaberia hills, including to the village of the same name, and the Argentera hills, where there is a well-preserved square Romanesque tower. Also recommended is the footpath through the Enderrocada wind farm.
How to get there
It can be reached by road from Falset on the T-3000 as far as Marçà and then the TV-3001 to La Torre de Fontaubella; from Pradell de la Teixeta on the TV-3223; from Reus on the N-420 and then the TV-3223, and from Colldejou on the TV-3220.
