Siurana reservoir
Siurana reservoir, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, is surrounded by the Montsant and Prades mountain ranges. It is fed by the Siurana river which is one of the main affluents of the Ebro river. Closeby, the Gritella mountain range rises up majestically, topped by the hamlet of Siurana which watches over its waters. Siurana is reached by the C-242 road coming out of Cornudella on the right hand side.
Canoa Kayak offers outdoor pursuits and activities based around water such as: an introduction to canoeing and kayaking, rental of small boats and other adventure sports such as gorge-scrambling.
One of the most beautiful hikes you can do around here is the one which takes you to the village of Siurana along the old road from Cornudella. The path starts in the village of Cornudella and climbs up to the legendary site of Siurana, last Moorish bastion to fall to the Christian re-conquest in Catalonia.
