The Priorat County Path Hiking Network uses sign posts made out of tree trunks with green metal indicators, which are to be found at important points of the trails. There are also painted markers to be found mainly on stones, trees or dry stone walls and which consist of a thick yellow painted line of around 3x12 cm. These markers are aimed at indicating the way when it is not obvious and also to identify the paths which make up the county network of paths.
When these paths cross or follow one of the established paths such as the GRs (Long Routes)or the PRs (Short routes), the markings for these routes have been re-painted. If there was a complex mix of markers, the county council has opted for the use of the yellow marker.
